Terms of Use

These terms are a contract between you and ObjectGraph LLC, New York (“we”, “us”), covering MyFoodAnalysis at www.myfoodanalysis.com and its API. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

MyFoodAnalysis is free to use and needs no account. We may change, suspend or stop any part of it, and we offer no guarantee that it is always available or that any food, number or feature stays on it.

Everything on the site is general information. It is not medical, nutritional or dietary advice, and it does not replace a doctor, a registered dietitian or another qualified professional. Do not use it to diagnose or treat any condition, to manage a medical diet (such as for diabetes, kidney disease, food allergies or a metabolic disorder), or to decide what a child, a pregnant person or anyone with a health condition should eat, without that professional's advice.

Allergies and intolerances: ingredient lists and nutrition values can be out of date or incomplete. Always read the label on the package you actually have.

Nutrient values come from USDA FoodData Central (USDA's analyses and manufacturers' labels submitted to USDA). Foods vary, labels change and data contains errors. Our processing, including food names written with the help of an AI model and computed values such as net carbs, servings and % Daily Value, is described on how we build this and can also be wrong. We do not guarantee that any value is accurate, complete or current.

Do not use MyFoodAnalysis to:

• break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
• probe, attack or overload the site or the API;
• copy the site at scale with scripts or scrapers, or run bulk requests against the API beyond its published limits, without our written permission;
• resell the service or present it as your own.

We may limit or block traffic that breaks these rules.

USDA FoodData Central data is in the public domain. The code that curates it and the food names we publish are open source under the licences stated in our data repository. The site itself, its design, text, charts and the MyFoodAnalysis name and logo belong to ObjectGraph LLC. Brand names and trademarks of food products belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products.

What we collect and what we do not is set out in the Privacy page, which is part of these terms.

You use MyFoodAnalysis at your own risk. The site, the API and all data are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ObjectGraph LLC will not be liable for any harm to health, any decision made in reliance on the site, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. You will indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the site in breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, this page will say so with a new effective date; using the site after a change means you accept it. Questions: info@objectgraph.com.
